Resumen:
Bacterial classification has always been a problem. The few visible morphological charactersrequire a great number of additional tests in order to be able to define a species and give themicroorganism a name that situates it as an entity acknowledged by those who study it.Several questions arise when a genus or species is given a name. For instance: must the namerefer to the physiology of the microorganism? Or must we accept similitude even if it is notbased on relevant characters?
