Resumen:
A strong theoretical and/or methodological emphasis on orisha practice has led us to generally neglect the symbiotic relationships that are established between several religious variants, which are most often than not, practiced jointly and not solely. In the lived religious world (in the sense of Robert Orsi?s concept of "lived religion") of the practitioners, these beings are part of the same religious experience. These variants are articulated to compose their whole lived religious world.Especially, they are part of the same religious tool-kit that practitioners employ in order to deal with their everyday-life problems. Individuals resort either simultaneously or alternatively ?but always in an interconnected way- to orisha divination and offerings (ebós) and to consultations with caboclo , preto velho or Exu spirits. What each of these spiritual beings has to say is important and taken into consideration.
