Resumen:
The purpose of this work is to develop a general and computationally efficient methodology for handling simultaneous multicontact collisions under the assumption that the impacts follow an instantaneous sequence, a methodology that is fully consistent with a rigid body modelling assumption at the contact zone. Better predictions could be obtained by considering that the impactshave a finite duration, however that would imply higher computation times, something we would like to avoid. The solution to be proposed is implemented as an extension of the non-smooth generalised-a method (NSGA) proposed by Brüls et al. to multi-contact collisions.
