Resumen:
Spilodermus Stål is synonymized with Peirates Serville. Its species P. argenteopilosus Shcouteden and P. quadrinotatus (Fabricius) Pirates arcuatus Stål, new synonymy are assigned to the new P. quadrinotatus species group. These two species are redescribed, illustrated, their geographical distribution mapped, and a key for separating them is given. These species have an African-Indopacific distribution.
