Resumen:
A comparative study of vestiture of antennae, elytra and elytral punctatures was carried out using SEM. The objetives were to find new characters to separate the following eight genera of the tribe Naupactini: Cyrtomon Schoenherr, Priocyphus Hustache, Enoplactus Heller, Mendozella Hustache, Trichocyphus Heller, Lamprocyphus Marshall, Acyphus Heller and Ericydeus Pascoe. In the case of Cyrtomon, the species characters also were described. Characters of elytral punctures ate the most important to differenciate genera. Shape, size, sculpture and density of scales and lenght, width, sculpture and inclination of setae ate diagnostic characters of species. The probable phylogenetic value of vestiture and elytral punctures was discussed.
