A group of species, M. purcis, M. luctosus and M. cinctipes are redescribed. They were confused because they have the same colour pattern on the hemelytra. The morphology of the chorium and operculum of the egg, genitalia of both sexes and other characters are described for the first time. New records of geographic distribution are given.
