Eidmannia, a neotropical genus of entomofagus bugs, distributed from Guyana to North Argentina is revised and a diagnosis is given. The sole species so far known, E. attaphila is redescribed. Five new species are described: E. matogrossensis, sp. n., E. obscura, sp. n., E. benienis, sp. n., E. bahiensis, sp. n., and E. guyanensis, sp. n. All the species are keyed and illustrated.
