Resumen:
The 39 types of Gerromorpha (Heteroptera) deposited in the Scientific Department of Entomology of the Museo de La Plata were listed. These types belong to 18 species distributed in the families: Hydrometridae (1), Veliidae (6), Gerridae (9) and Hebridae (2). They were contributed by the following authors: Bachmann (1), Berg (5), Drake and Cahpman (1), Drake and Harris (7), Drake and Hottes (2), and Spangler (2). The status of holotype and paratype or ?typus? is given as it is known or indicated in the description (no new designation are made). References to original descriptions and the valid names are given.
