Resumen:
The 158 types of Miridae (Heteroptera) deposited in the Scientific Department of Entomology of the Museo de La Plata were listed. These types belong to 119 species and 3 subspecies. Theywere contributed by the following authors: Berg (50), Carvalho (34), Carvalho & Carpintero (2), Carvalho & Costa (1), Carvalho & Dutra (1) , Carvalho & Felipe (1), Carvalho & Ferreira (2), Cavalho & Fontes (18), Carvalho & Gomes (5), Carvalho & Maldonado Capriles (1), Carvalho & Schaffner (1) and Carvalho & Wallerstein (2). For each taxon complete information about original and valid names, publication, subsequent combination, collection data and condition is given.
