In this work, the stochastic dynamics of a guyed mast is analyzed under wind action. The structural model is simplified witha beam-column considering the second order effect due to axial loads and one inclined guy (non-linear cable). The governing system isdiscretized using finite elements and solved with a reduced order model constructed with vibration modes. Both a stochastic load anda structural model are considered. The wind load is derived using the Spectral Representation Method. The nominal wind velocity isconsidered as a stochastic parameter. Also, the bending stiffness is assumed random. The probability distribution functions (PDFs) of theresults are evaluated for each parameter separately and combined. The nominal wind velocity is found to be the most influential randomvariable. It is shown that the uncertainty quantification (UQ) leads to a more realistic approach of the dynamic structural behavior.
