Resumen:
The Andacollo Mning District, in the northwestn side of the Neuquén province is characterized by several epithermal systems related to the placement of magmatic bodies. The oldest ephitermal system, with NE-SW and NW-SE orientations, affects the Arroyo del Torreón Formation and is related to the Dacita Sofía intrusion during Upper Carbonifeous. The second event of mineralization that generates epithermal systems in fault with E-W orientation is characteristic of the Huaraco Formation, and it is related to the emplacement of the Huinganco Granite. Finally, the last event of mineralization that affects rocks of the Precuyano Cycle has an E-W orientation and is linked to the intrusion of Cerro Colo Granodiorite.
