Resumen:
Maternal calcium demands increase during pregnancy because of fetal skeleton development. Although this need is normally met by dietary calcium intake, calcium is supplied by maternal stores when dietary intake is deficient. The aim of this study was to evaluate changes in bone remodeling and bone mass during pregnancy.
