Resumen:
It is shown that the beta-functions of the generalized bosonic non-linear sigma-model for gravity and antisymmetric tensor presently available in the literature cannot be obtained as the equations of motion from a covariant action. Some consequences ofther results are discussed and a possible solution is indicated.
