Resumen:
This paper presents a sensorless drive for 3-phasePMSM with tolerance to current sensor faults using a standardinverter. A nonlinear observer is used to provide rotor position,speed and phase current estimates as feedback to the systemcontroller. During a failure in one of the current sensors, an errorreconstruction method is used to achieve uninterrupted operationof the observer while the remaining phase current sensor signalprovides the feedback to the control system. The performance ofthe proposed system is shown by simulations.
