Resumen:
The easternmost Holocene littoral ridge of Bahçia Samborombçon area ¿Buenos Aires Province, Argentina? shows several sedimentary facies defined by their primary structures. Subhorizontal stratified facies represents beach and surf zone high energy deposits of an open marine wave influenced coast. The composition and roundness of heavy and light minerals of the fine sand population are similar to those of the Atlantic beach sands of Argentina. The main provenence (pyroclastic-volcanic) areas were those of the central Argentine pampas and the Patagonia. Clastic materials wre carried alongshore from Patagonian Atalntic region by westerly winds.
