Resumen:
The electroformation of thick hydrous mixed nickel-cobalt oxide films on a Ni-Co (40 mol%/60 mol%) alloy in alkaline solution have been studied. The films were obtained by the application of fast periodic square wave potential signals. The optimal characteristics of this treatment for growing the oxide layer are described. Thermal treatments were also applied to the resulting Ni-Co oxide film and the NiCo2O4 oxide spinel was obtained. The characterization of these oxide electrodes of electrocatalytic interest were carried out by XPS, X-ray diffractiometry and cyclic voltammetry.
