Resumen:
An alternative method to calculate the constants of the Wilson equation for the correlation of the activity coefficients of binary liquid solutions is proposed. The method is based in the integration of both the analytical expression and the experimental data of the excess Gibbs energy. The experimental values were first correlated by an orthogonal discrete polynomial expansion. The Wilson constants obtained by this method were satisfactorily compared with those calculated with other usual techniques.
