Glass data are often interpreted in terms of the excitations of two-well systems. With this motivation in mind, we have calculated the dynamic susceptibility S(w) and the dynamic structure factor S(k,w) for a double-parabolic well. As a function of w, S(k,w) shows an intersting peak structure, which becomes richer as either the temperature or k is increased. The reasons for this behavior are analyzed in detail. Comparison is made with the results of Iwamatsu and Onodera for the f4 potential.
