It was recently shown that it is possible to define a finite mean-square displacement for Levy-type anomalous diffusion in the framework of Tsallis' generalized statistical mechanics (TGSM). We perform an analytical and numerical study of for a Levy-like flight on a (2N+1)-site lattice, assuming that the jump rates depend on the distance x as p(x)  ~  x-(1+a).
