This is the first study of phycoflora from Bajo Giuliani, a sewage wastewater pond in Santa Rosa, La Pampa. The purpose of this research was to analyze the representation of the division Cyanophyta: Chroococcales, Chamaesiphonales and Hormogonales and division Chlorophyta: Tetraselmidales, Volvocales and Chlorococcales present at Bajo Giuliani, and to describe the taxa which represent new records for Argentina. Sixty eight taxa were identified, among them Oscillatoria margaritifera Kütz (Cyanophyta) and Chlorophyta, Polyedriopsis spinulosa (Schmidle) Schmidle, Chlorella ellipsoidea Gern., Closteriopsis acicularis var. acicularis (G.M. Smith) Belcher & Swale, Kirchneriella contorta (Schmidle) var. elegans Oscillatoria margaritifera Kütz (Cyanophyta)  and Chlorophyta, Polyedriopsis spinulosa (Schmidle) Schmidle, Chlorella ellipsoidea Gern., Closteriopsis  acicularis var. acicularis (G.M.
