In the last decades, ​ ​several species have become established in different environments, causing in many cases, significant ecological and economic impacts. ​Various strategies have been studied and implemented for their control, yet the problem is far from being resolved.​  In this symposium, by sharing the la​test research on invasion dynamics, ecology and behaviour of social wasps, we expect to contribute improve our abilities to manage social wasp nuisance populations in the invaded range.Objectives of the session: Update and share international current knowledge on the ecology and behavior of social wasps. This groups of species is often lest represented. Our final aim is to identify research leads that may prove important for successful and sustainable management of these species in the invaded range.Duration: 2,5 hs.Organization: We plan 10 presentations of a fully international panel, lasting 12 (+3) minutes each.Below is a list of confirmed presenters
