In the last years, the synthesis of purine analogs have been increased significantly due their interesting biological activities. On the other hand, there is no significant information about the thermal study of this type of molecules. Considering the importance of the reactivity f purine analogues, we decide to start our work with the synthesis of the pyrazolo[3,4d][1,2,3]triazin-4-ones 1a-d by a convenient diazotization reaction of 5-amino-1H-pyrazole-4-carbonitriles 2a-d.
