Resumen:
The main objective of this work is to open new insights into the early leaf senescence process focuses in the identification and characterization of genetic sequences and metabolic pathways involved in the onset and evolution of the leaf senescence process. This aim involved the analysis of transcriptional and metabolic profiles in leaves from plants growing under different conditions that may alter the senescence rate, concomitant with studies of physiological and biochemical aspects.
