Resumen:
During the Egyptian New Kingdom, tombs belonging to the elite show a new epigraphical repertoire in their decoration. Iconography and hieroglyphic inscriptions preserved in the walls of private funerary monuments were officially to keep the deceased saved of annihilation. Nevertheless, this decorative programme was also prescribed to create images that were able to reproduce a social an political system. To decode some scenes of TT49 so important as the reward of Neferhotep, Osiris receiving offering in his kiosk and Karnak temple, we have considered historical background of this transitional period and some methodological approaches coming from aesthetic studies and history of art.
