Resumen:
The results of an experimental longitudinal study of lithic artifacts positioned on a surface plot set in the southeast of Baguales Range (Santa Cruz, Argentina) are presented. The results are utilized to discuss the characteristics of surface archaeological lithic assemblages recovered at the locality. The patterns observed on the experimental artifacts show the active role of taphonomic processes on the spatial configuration of the local archaeological record.
