Resumen:
This chapter traces different connections of the Messianic Kings´ tradition in Spain, Portugal and the Americas from the 15th to the 17th centuries. It studies some prophecies concerning a Hidden King (Encubierto) that were adapted to very different situations over several centuries in the Iberian World. It shows the connected development of these prophecies from one kingdom to the other from the 15th to the 17th centuries.
