Resumen:
In this paper we obtain convergence results for the series ofdifferences of Ces`aro averages along lacunary sequences in thesetting of weighted $L^p$--spaces. These results give someinformation about how the Ces`aro averages converge. The paperextends results of an earlier work by R. L. Jones and J.Rosenblatt. The operators considered are essentially convolutionoperators given by kernels more singular than the onesin the article by Jones and Rosenblatt.
