Atomic squeezing in CQE systems

We study the problem of three (and two)-level atoms systems interacting with a radiation eld in a quantum cavity. The exact eigenstates of the Hamiltonian are calculated in order to study the timeevolution of spin observables like the spin squeezing factor, and the total spin alignment. It was found for the two-level systems that entanglement between atoms could be obtained depending on theinitial conditions. For the three level systems we use a coherent spin state as initial conditions and determined the occurrence of atomic squeezing as a result of the initial coherent state parameters.
