Resumen:
In this note we describe how the lateral shower light distribution is implemented within the “spot” reconstruction method. The lateral width of the fluorescence and Cherenkov radiation at the FD diaphragm is convoluted with the spot light distribution produced by the telescope spherical aberration allowing the calculation of the expected FADC traces. An empirical model to describe the observed broadening of the shower image has been developed. Further details on the “spot” reconstruction method not described in our previous note are also the object of this paper.
