Abstract. Open pit mining impact:
methodological proposal for environmental
appraisal of the landscape. The present work
proposes a methodological analysis for appraisal
of the landscape, seeing it as a socialeconomic
resource, taking into account its
main environmental features. This appraisal
will allow to determine the seriousness of a
likely environmental impact, caused by a future
open pit exploitation mining project.
