Dynamo Effects and Geometrical Origin of the Alpha Term in Affine Theory of Gravity

Dynamo effect is considered in the context of an Unified field theoretical model based in affinegeometries. We show that there exists an analog ?α-term? in the equations that has a purely geometric origin,in sharp contrast with the turbulent one. Some high energy and astrophysical implicancies (primordial magneticfield, compact objects dynamics, chiral magnetic effects, etc) coming from this type of alternative modelof gravitation are briefly discussed.
