We give a brief and very simple picture of one of the most remarkable results of MatveiPetrovich Bronstein concerning quantization of gravitational waves, showing also that the linearizedEinstein equations of the paper by E. T.Newman, Phys. Rev. D65, 104005 (2002) are the same Bronstein?sequations given 66 years before.
