Resumen:
Cucurbitacins are a group of tetracyclic triterpenoids predominantly found in Cucurbitaceae family. Currently, anti-inflamatory and antitumoral activities of cucurbitacin derivatives have been reported1. Our group has been working in the search for cucurbitacin derivatives with potential antiinflamatory and antitumoral activities. In this way, glycosylated dihydrocucurbitacin B derivatives are of great interest in the search of active and more polar compounds in order to improve the assays in vitro and in vivo and pave the way for further studies on the structure-activity relationships.
