Single cell analysis based on Nanophotonics within unicellular microorganisms

The interest of light delivery within tissues could be developed by varied sources at different scales. In this manner, from the molecular toward the Nano-scale approaches could be used for variable applications. Thus, Silica Nanoparticles with different sizes were used as Nanoplatforms modified with Fluorescent Laser dyes to exploit the Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) for targeted wavelengths within unicellular microorganism. Therefore it was evaluated the targeting of Cyanobacteria Photosystems and Bioimaging applications.
