Resumen:
Fenitrothion (1) (Fig. 1) is an organophosphorus insecticide and acaricide and is effective against a wide range of pests. Complexation of fenitrothion in solution as well as in the solid state with two derivatised CDs, namely hexakis(2,3,6-tri-Omethyl)-alfa-CD (TRIMEA) and heptakis(2,3,6-tri-O-methyl)-beta-CD (TRIMEB) is reported here.
