Resumen:
This chapter highlights the most interesting and relevant contributions of several research groupsin the period 2014?2018 in the development of carbon nanotubes-based electrochemical sensing technology for the detection of Pb, Cd, Hg, Cr, and As. Special attention is paid to the strategies of functionalization and immobilization of carbon nanotubes, associated with pre-concentration and stripping methodologies that have provided improvements in the sensitive and selective electrochemical detection of heavy metals ions and arsenic.
