Resumen:
The pirolisis of olive biomass is carried out over different heterogeneous catalysts: CeO2, Al-MCM-41 and two Nb2O5 samples. The specific surface area of the samples is calculated from BET isotherms. Besides, samples are characterized by TPD of adsorbed NH3. Important differences in the acidity and in the specific surface area of the different samples is observed. It was observed that the percentage of gas products of the pyrolisis is depleted when heterogeneous catalysts are used . The bio-oils were analyzed by means of gas chromatography- mass spectroscopy in orde to determine the relative composition of the different products. The nature of the catalysts strongly influences on the efficiency of the pyrolysis process and on the chemical composition of the liquids. An attempt is performed in order to relate the characterization results with the chemical properties of the liquids obtained by pyrolysis.2, Al-MCM-41 and two Nb2O5 samples.
