Resumen:
The computational load and the average square root error are employed to evaluate the performance of three state estimation approaches based on the UT: UKF, URNDDR and RCUKF for their application in DRTO loops. The results show that the three methods have very good performance for the state estimation of the polymerization process under study, but the URNDDR provides slightly better results. The UKF is easier to implement because it does not require solving an optimization problem in the measurement update step. On the other hand, the other two can ensure that state estimates satisfy bounds and other constraints.
