Resumen:
Previous studies have shown that the addition of small amounts of clay improves the barrier properties of CPE without significantly affecting the rheological properties. Furthermore, there are indications that the presence of clay would favor photo-degradation of poliolefins. With this in mind, we have decided to analyze the photo-degradation of nanocomposites (NC) based on a propylene-ethylene copolymer (CPE) and an organophilic montmorillonite (oMMT) compatibilized with a CPE functionalized with maleic anhydride (CPEg).
