Resumen:
The selection of optimal solvents and process schemefor CO2 capture in pre-combustion processes is based on acomputer aided molecular design (CAMD) procedure usinga group contribution equation of state program(GCMOLD). After a brief revision of the literature on CO2capture by physical absorption solvents, the GCMOLDprogram is developed and applied to study the CO2 captureof a typical pre-combustion process.
