Resumen:
Reactive Separation Processes (RS) as reactive extractation (ES)and reactive distillation (RD) processes as defined as reactive mass exchange precesses where, the chemical reaction and separation of the reaction mixture occur simultaneously an combined (in one operation apparatous, with predominat removing of target reaction products. In this work, both precesses were analyzed drom the point of view of enviromental performance. After energy comsuption, productivity and overall efficiency were analyzed, the enviromental impact (using WAR algorithm) was assesed. So integration is understood as a principle that could offer many alternatives but, the nature of the precess can guide the designer in the beginning steps to decide which process is the best. Here the discutions is oriented to the enviroental performance of the two processes using as example the amyl acetate production.
