Resumen:
The thermal and morphological properties of model triblock copolymers of butadiene 1,4 with poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PB-b-PDMS-b-PB) were analyzed by small angle X rays scattering (SAXS), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). These model triblock copolymers were synthesized using high vacuum anionic polymerization techniques combining sequential addition of monomers and silane-coupling chemistry. According to the experimental results, the PB-b-PDMS-b-PB copolymers exhibit spherical and lamellar morphology, whereas their thermal stability depends on the PDMS content.
