Resumen:
A heterogeneous 1D model was used to represent the behavior of a membrane reactor for WGSR. The model was validated with experimental data, obtained from a laboratory scale membrane reactor. Experiments were carried out under isothermal conditions using a Pt (0.6)/La2O3.SiO2 catalyst. The effect of the sweep gas flow rate on the CO conversion and H2 recovery was analyzed. Hydrogen partial-pressure axial profiles were included to justify the model selection. The influence of other operating variables (space velocity, temperature) was also addressed.
