Resumen:
In this work, the preliminary synthesis of a fast pyrolysis plus catalytic hydrogenationprocess for the production of value added products from sunflower seed hulls will bepresented at the conceptual stage. A General Disjunctive Programming (GDP) problemis solved, proposing a superstructure generated by the different ways of treating the rawmaterial, posing different alternatives for the separation process and desired products. TheNet Present Value is used as objective function. The solution of this problem allows forthe identification of promising alternatives for the sensible and profitable use of residualbiomass.
