Resumen:
The present work presents the characterization of a nanostructured glucose biosensor. The substrate was made of carbon paste over which, a solution of ZnO nanoparticles with immobilized glucose oxidase enzyme, is deposited over the carbon paste electrode. The comparison between the developed biosensor and one, without ZnO nanostructures, shows an increased sensitivity of one order. The nanostructured ZnO biosensor also shows a good reusability after 8 days. The glucose nanobiosensor could measure glucose concentrations from 0.1 mM to 1 mM.
