Resumen:
Heart Failure (HF) is one of the major causes of death in the world. Almost half the individuals admitted to hospital for HF are re-admitted within 6 months. Common reasons for HF re-hospitalizations include delays in symptom recognition, medication and dietary noncompliance, and lack of knowledge and skills for competent self management. Sev-eral authors demonstrated that the e-health systems have the potential to reduce the burden associated with HF in primary care, but in the results of several reviews about the impact of e-health systems in HF patients, the specific elements of the telemonitoring interventions are not clear. For these reasons, the aim of this work is to check whether existing telemonitoring systems include the parameters and features that recommend medical consensuses on HF. Based on these comparative observations, a huge difference between all e-health systems and the medical recommendations were found. Due to this, should be important establish an unique criteria to develop telemonitoring systems according to the medical guidelines.
