Resumen:
The thermal resistance R of the envelope is one of the most important factors that affect the thermal performance of a building. A reliable estimate of R is necessary for the real evaluation of the thermal performance. There are several methods for determining R for on-site measurments that asume stationary or dynamic conditions. The objective of this work is the comparison between three methods for calculating R from superficial temperatures and heat flux measurements, in a building prototipe in summer conditions. Three methods were implemented in Python language: average method (stationary and with storage corrections), Anderlind´s method (dynamic) and the Fourier transform based on thermic-electric analogy (dynamic). The convergence time was compared and the method´s applicability depending on experimental conditions. The results obtained were acceptable under the conditions of having long measurement times (more than 30 days), and the different methods showed a maximun difference of 20% in the results for R.
