Resumen:
The phytochemical study of two natural extracts obtained from plants Eucalyptus citriodora Hook and Pinus caribaea Morelet, both with in vitro biocide activity demonstrated, against microorganisms that can cause biodeterioration of the cultural heritage, is presented. For the qualitative identification of the secondary metabolites, were performed by following the methodology established by the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Cuba. Several compounds were detected, among which figure alkaloids, cumarines, flavonoids, phenols, tannins, terpenes and steroids. These can be those responsible for the biological activity demonstrated in the previous studies.Eucalyptus citriodora Hook and Pinus caribaea Morelet, both with in vitro biocide activity demonstrated, against microorganisms that can cause biodeterioration of the cultural heritage, is presented.
