Resumen:
The final larval stadium of Mecistogaster amalia is described and illustrated for thefirst time based on one female collected in a tree hole in Misiones province, Argentina,and compared with all known larvae of related genera. Larval morphology ofPseudostigmatidae is briefly discussed.
