Título:
Static and dynamic criticality in midge swarms

Resumen:
Midges form swarms which have been found to be a critical biological system, where the correlation length scales with the size of the swarm.  This correlation length plays a crucial role in controlling the dynamics of the system.  I will discuss how one concludes that a swarm is critical, and how the correlation length rules the time decay of these correlations through dynamic scaling.
